Getting Started

1. Enter your project information (Film Title, Director, Composer, etc.)
2. Load a video file (optional) - supports MP4, WebM, MOV
3. Set your frame rate to match your picture
4. Navigate to a frame with visible timecode and use Sync Timecode to match
5. Press → (Right Arrow) or Space to start the timer

Video files are loaded directly in your browser and never uploaded to any server. Your media stays completely local and private.

Playback Controls

Marking Cues

1	Cue Start	Begins a new music cue
2	Blank	Timestamp marker (no label)
3	Shift	Marks a shift/change within a cue
4	Highlight	Marks a moment to highlight
5	Sting	Marks a sting or stab
6	Xfade	Crossfade - ends current cue, starts new one
Esc	Cue End	Ends the current cue

Other Controls

A-Z	Add thematic tag to selected entry
-	Reaction buffer (subtract frames from current time)
` (backtick)	Deselect current entry
Ctrl/Cmd + Z	Undo last action

Right-Click Menu

Right-click any entry to access these options:

Delete and Renumber	Removes the entry and renumbers subsequent cues
Delete Without Renumbering	Removes the entry, keeps cue numbers as-is
Insert Entry Before	Adds a new entry one frame before this one
Insert Entry After	Adds a new entry one frame after this one
Set Reel Number (Renumber)	Changes reel number for this and all following entries
Set Reel Number (Keep)	Changes reel number for this entry only

Tips

• Click any entry to select it and jump to that timecode
• Click the timecode to edit it manually
• Click the notes field to add notes
• Click the ✕ on the right side of any row to delete it
• Click the ✕ on any tag to remove just that tag
• Thematic tags can be defined in the right panel (A-Z keys)
• Right-click entries for more options (delete, insert, renumber reels)
• All work is auto-saved to your browser
• Click the Help button in the bottom bar anytime to see these instructions

Cue Rules

• Every cue must start with Cue Start or Xfade
• Every cue must end with Cue End
• If you try to add a mid-cue marker without an active cue, a Cue Start is auto-inserted

Exporting

• Download Session: Saves a JSON file you can reload later
• Export to Excel: Creates a styled spreadsheet for sharing
